Technology construction company Brick&Bolt launches contactless construction for home builders

Technology construction company Brick&Bolt has introduced contactless construction for its customers, where customers can work with contractors and project managers by phone or video conference.

The initiative comes in light of the current Covid situation where safety and social distancing have become important.

With the contactless construction, documents can also be signed electronically. Clients can also approve plans, track progress in real time, and virtually monitor every aspect of the project. With a designated project manager and the use of multiple technology platforms, the company ensures that no quality checks are missed during the construction process.

Lockdowns and social distancing have made the pandemic particularly difficult for homebuilders. We wanted to build an alternative construction model that integrates safety, construction technology and customer comfort with the construction activity on the ground. Through “contactless construction”, we have created a virtual system that facilitates quality assurance, better communication and collaboration between contractors, customers and suppliers, all from the comfort of the customer’s home,” said Jayesh Rajpurohit, co-founder and CEO of Brick&Bolt.

The most pressing issue for homebuilders right now is the fear and uncertainty surrounding both Covid and the current state of building activity.

The pandemic has complicated short- and long-term plans for many, as people now worry about the challenges that will come with building homes.
