Lama Rinchen became a student of the late meditation master Gendun Rinpoche in 1978 and two years later became his translator. After completing a traditional three-year retreat, Lama Gendun Rinpoche requested she begin teaching. In 1994, Lama Rinchen was appointed the head of the women's retreat program at Dhagpo Kundreul Ling in France. A native English speaker, Lama Rinchen is known for her knowledge, clarity and skillful way of teaching.
