As the Scholarship Fund initiated in Santa Barbara has been such a great success, having distributed nearly $2,300 in scholarship money to seven individuals, we in Pasadena wish to create such a scholarship fund for programs and retreats hosted by Pasadena. If donations are made in time, we can begin to offer financial aid to those specifically in need, as soon as Lama Tsony's February 2007 retreat.

We also hope to make funds available to future students of Pasadena programs and retreats who may be in need of financial assistance. However, in order to do so, our scholarship fund will need to be continually replenished! We invite you, therefore, to make offerings to the Pasadena fund in any amount and as frequently as possible.
